What is Microneedling?

Microneedling (aka collagen induction therapy) uses an automated disposable pen with multiple tiny needle tips that create micro injuries in the skin. These micro injuries trigger the body to create healthy, new, collagen-rich tissue. This treatment has gained so much popularity because it produces such great results with little downtime.

What skin concerns does Microneedling target?

Microneedling can treat a wide range of skin concerns such as large pores, acne scars, melasma, hyper pigmentation, uneven skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles, and dull skin. You can also add PRP to this treatment to speed up the natural healing process.

Is Microneedling painful?

Most patients have little to no pain at all. A medical grade topical numbing cream is applied 30-45 minutes prior to treatment for patient comfortabiliy.

How many treatments will I need?

Everyone’s skin is different and it really varied per person but we recommend a series of 3-6 treatments that are spread out every 4-6 weeks apart.

Is there downtime?

There is little downtime required for microneedling. 24-48 hours post treatment your skin will be pinkish red and feel like a slight sunburn. We recommend avoiding applying makeup, sweating, going in saunas or hot tubs to prevent infection. 48-72 hours post treatment you can expect flaking skin for up to 5 days.

When will I see results?

Results can be expected to be seen anywhere from 2-6 weeks post treatment. Clients can expect optimal results when combined with a personal skincare regimen.
