What is considered non-invasive cosmetic treatments?
Non-invasive cosmetic treatments are conservative treatment that does not require an incision into the body or the removal of tissue. In other words, a non-invasive procedure is one that doesn’t involve going under the knife. A few examples of non-invasive treatments include Coolsculpting, Photofacials, Botox, Restylane, and Skin tightening & cellulite reduction.
Non-invasive Cosmetic Treatments Have Less Downtime
One of the biggest benefits of non-invasive procedures is that they don’t take nearly as long as invasive procedures nor do they have much downtime post-treatment. Many non-invasive treatments take such little time that they can be done on lunch breaks and without any significant amount of discomfort or inconvenience.
Results
Results are gradual, and not as noticeable, unlike invasive procedures. Most of the time people won’t be able to notice that someone had a non-invasive procedure done since there is little to no downtime for recovery as well as no scarring.
Cost
Generally, non-invasive procedures are less expensive than invasive procedures. There are various reasons for this, but mostly it is because the surgeries aren’t as intense, as long, and don’t require any kind of post-treatment medication or hospital time.
